Fallowtail is a rather average cat. His height is around the average for toms, his built is neither excessively bulky nor extremely scrawny. His paws are in balance with his size, his eyes and nose neither to large nor to small. If he has any scars, they are hidden by his thick fur. His coat is medium-length and sleek, and covered in a triad of colors. First, there's the creamy white basecoat that seems to consume most of his fur. Then, in various patches along his pelt, a pale grey-brown color makes it's claim. On top of these, darker brown colors emerge as tabby stripes. His nose is a pale pink, mixed with a slightly darker, purple-y color where it meets some of the spots on his face. Fallowtail's eyes are a bright, clear yellow.

Personality
Quiet | Observant | Mellow | Appreciative | Malleable | Friendly | Scatterbrained
Quiet
Though he's not very shy, Fallowtail isn't the most verbose of cats either. His words are usually well placed, not often excessive. Unless he is conversing with another cat, Fallowtail is generally, well, quiet. He's not the cat to hum while he works, or to chatter incessantly to himself. He doesn't talk to his prey or to the trees, and he will not be the one to offer words in order to lighten a conversation. He doesn't mind silly banter and such, and while he may participate in it, when you get him alone or no one is talking to him, he's not going to talk. He likes to sit quietly as a bunch of cats chatter to each other rather than participating in the conversations himself.  This isn't to say that he doesn't talk at all - actually he can be quite verbose when in a conversation - but unless he's speaking with another cat who initiates the conversation, chances are he won't say very much at all.

Observant
Fallowtail likes nothing better than to cat-watch, and in doing so he's managed to pick up on quite a few things. This practice of keeping an eye on others, and on his surroundings, has left Fallowtail with a keen eye, able to generally catch anything like a low-lying twig or a mostly-hidden foxhole, so that he stays on his paws. He's also rather good at reading cats, though not from instinct more from watching their behaviours. He watches everything - and tries to catch everything too. He's not naturally talented at reading cats, so this somewhat helps him in that manner. It's one of his primary ways of learning about his tribemates, and picking up the little clues has helped him often when his judgement fails him. Quiet as he is, this often ends up being more like evesdropping, though it's not intended to be. Things just don't often slip by Fallowtail.

Mellow
Lazy days out by a stream where bugs drone on and on and buzz around hazily, with green and yellow, relaxing in the sun, that's a pretty apt way to describe Fallowtail. He's not lazy, exactly, be he takes everything in stride. He's easy going and adaptable, and not really fazed by much. This isn't to say he won't rip into the skin of another chat when he needs to, he is a warrior after all, but he's a very even-tempered tom. He's usually very relaxed, not quite lazy but not as active as, say, the apprentices and kits. He's not going to judge, but he may not also be a cat to rely on for keeping secrets and such either. Fallowtail's just one to kind of go with the flow, he's never going to be too worked up, even if he should be. This can lead him to making bad decisions, as it may entice him to fall for a cat outside of his clan or spend more time than he ought to with a cat who has a mate or something of the sort.

Appreciative
Fallowtail honestly appreciates almost everything. The littlest things make him rather cheerful, or please him. Running, the stretch and pull of his muscles, the thrill of a hunt, the eagerness of an apprentice in their first battle practice. He's the kind of tom that will stop and smell the roses, and who tries to take in everything he can before it gets too late. Perhaps this stems from not appreciating his parents as much as he would have liked to as a kit, but either way, Fallowtail is reluctant to let anything pass without really valuing it. This can sometimes make him slower than he needs to be, or confuse him because he'll be so focused on appreciating the here and now that he'll loose track of what he was doing or of what needed to be done. He can't really help it, though, appreciating even the simple little things has become a second nature to the tom, and it's one of the things that makes him rather happy.

Malleable
Being so dead set in opinions is not something that Fallowtail can boast. There are very few things he can't be persuaded to change his mind about, he's the kind of tom to flicker back and forth, never dead set in his opinions. He's never been a leader type, always more of a follower, a done who changes allegiances with his ideas rather often. A few choice words could convince him that battle is bad, that cats should only eat plants, et cetra. While he is more likely to change his mind when well-worded arguments are made, poorly worded ones can have much the same effect. Being so flexible isn't only a bad thing for him, though, even though it leads to poor judgement calls. It allows him to keep a clearer head in many situations that would otherwise be clouded by decisions and such. Perhaps, in this way, Fallowtail is just obedient- he will do as he's told, with little argument even if he initially thinks it's an awful idea.

Friendly
Though he an be quiet, Fallowtail is not an unfriendly tom. He's cheerful and likes to think he's approachable, and enjoys conversing with his tribe mates. He'll always be willing to lend a paw to a cat go needs it, and an ear of they'd prefer that instead. He loves listening to the stories others have to tell, whether it be in the form of rant, a few drawn out sentences here and there about themselves, or stories they heard as kits- they all enthral him. He tried to watch out for them, too, putting his observations to the test though he fails at making judgement calls. He's more than willing to befriend anyone, too, and keeps no secrets from anyone. He has no problem completely exposing himself to cats if they so wish, though he might not directly tell them unless they ask. Perhaps a little too trusting, but he does it all in good faith. The only thing he won't spill are clan secrets to those not in the clan- he learned that that was bad the hard way.

Scatterbrained
Fallowtail has the bad habit of thinking about too many things at once. In trying to appreciate everything he often forgets other things- like eating, for instance. He'll be thinking about so many things that it's not unusual for him to space out while doing something and run into a tree or trip over a mouse instead of catching it. His noughts hardly ever flow in the form of complete thoughts, generally getting interrupted by another before they can be. While this doesn't often happen when he's focusing on something, if he lets is mind wander even a little bit, Fallowtail's thoughts will scatter.

Backstory
Snowclaw and Thornfur were not the youngest of warriors when they finally figured out they had feelings for one another. The pair had been long-time friends and life-time tribemates, but for some reason the idea of choosing one another as mates never really hit them. Snowclaw was far to focused on her ambitions to really think about it, and Thornfur too busy out having adventures- he didn't much like to just stay in camp and sit around, he preferred to patrol - so when a tribemate mentioned something to them about how it was nice that they were so sweet on each other, the pair stared at the cat blankly. The idea got planted in their head though, and maybe that was what started it all, who knows? The only certain thing is that about two months later, Snowclaw and Thornfur were absolutely in love, or as close to it as either of them would get.
To say that Snowclaw wasn't a little resentful when her mate landed her in the nursery pregnant would be a lie, but at the same time, she was quite excited. A kit! She'd never really seen herself as the nurturing kind, but she was happy none the less. Happy, nervous, and scared. Snowfur by this time was nearing her fifth winter of life, and she knew that kitbirth was not the easiest of challenges, especially for an older cat. When she finally, after an overly long pregnancy, gave birth to her kits, it was with a heavy heart that she found three of the four stillborn. The remaining one, she and Thornfur dubbed Fallowkit, after his pale grey-brown tabby patches.
Fallowkit's kithood past rather quickly, boringly. His family doted on him, and he on them, and he was your typical kit: eager to show the clan he was a good kit, hoping one day to be a warrior or a leader. The time he spent with his parents was great, but he just couldn't wait to get out of the nursery and get away from all the other cats. When his apprenticeship came, he couldn't have been happier. Apprenticed to a cat named Shadowfeather, The tom got on well with his mentor, learning his tricks, skills, and picking up on his laid-back personality as well. When his parents decided to retire to the elders den, it was with great sadness that he let them go.
The winter that followed was bitter and cold, causing the deaths of Fallowpaw's parents and severe sickness in his mentor. While he continued to occasionally train under the other warriors, he watched sadly as Shadowfeather got worse and worse, until he, too, succumbed to the wrath of Greencough. He mourned for moons- still mourns them, sometimes.
The rest of his apprenticeship was rather normal, with Warriorhood following the same way. Nothing remarkable really happened to the tom, and everything he watched with bright, observant eyes.

Roleplay Example
From a roleplay between ~AngelShadowRena, ~HauntedMuck and I
[Pink-Orange-Light | Zarya | LT Bound]If her talking was getting awkward for the other cats, Zarya was as ignorant as a earthworm deep beneath her paws to the wing that rustled the tops of the trees. Ghost seemed plenty confident in his paw steps, making the mottled tabby more relaxed in the relief that his glowing bubble provided from the storm. And from what she could see, the den looked plenty big. Her black-tipped ears swiveled in the bubble to catch the earth-triber's words. Her green-eyed companion seemed nervous, she realized. More nervous than Zarya herself was. Should she be more nervous? The light-triber turned her grey eyes to her white-socked toes that seemed to blend with the snow that covered them as Ghost's tattoo faded and the bubble protecting them from the wind disappeared. She tensed up instantly as the tom moved forward, causing her already long and fluffy fur to spike out in an attempt to prevent the wind from cutting through it. Winter was nice, yes, but this weather almost made her miss the fall. In the fall, too some cat would probably have known where to go when the weather was this harsh! These new territories were fun to explore when it was nicer out, but they were strange when it became like this. Frightening, almost.
Ghost's words were muffled by the wind, but she caught the gist of them. Safe? That was good! Bounding eagerly after the tom, Zarya realized that her pace and size might not the the best inside, even if it was a big den. Her head bust into the shelter eagerly, already tired of the snowflakes swirling dizzily into her eyes. This seems big enough… If we're careful! She padded in after the other two cats, walking past Feli and towards the deepest part of the den before turning briefly and settling herself down, paws tucked neatly under her chest and tail pressed to her side. Mouse the smell caught her attention and Zarya briefly recalled seeing Ghost catch a startled one before entering, and now her grey eyes sought out it's small body. Ah, there. She wasn't really hungry yet, but depending on how long they'd be stuck here, the Pink-Orange light realized that catching the small creature had been a smart move on Ghost's part.
Her jaws were just about to open, ready to spew fourth a plethora of words with little focus whatsoever to them, when Feli's nod caught her attention. Oh? "I didn't join all that recently, no. But I'm not a tribe-born cat either; I moved with a group of cats to the old territories back at the end of Summer, when I was just a pink-light! I'm probably newer to most of these lands here than you are though, I never explored much of it back before joining the tribes. " The small rumble of laughter that escaped the earth-triber confused Zarya. Was something funny? Or was there a reason behind the growling?Or maybe it wasn't growling, but just the wind outside… The pink-Orange light couldn't tell, but she was not letting it get to her. Not here, in this confined den where one wrong movement could accidentally trigger her fear. This position was good though- it wasn't easy to get out of in face of immediate attack. "Like I mentioned earlier though, I haven't exactly been with the light-tribe cats for long, so I'm about in the same place as you with that! I think. When did you join Earth-Tribe? Was it just this season, or was it before, like me? And Ghost, Right?" She looked to the tom for confirmation, wondering if she had, in fact, discussed this before with him or if it was just a moment of her imagination flaring up.
Her imagination… Zarya doubted she'd be safe from her unconscious even in this den. Sleep might be worth it, but even if she could bring herself to fall asleep, Zarya knew it wouldn't be long before the nightmares awoke her. they always did at night, and she doubted a change of location would make it any better. Ah, well, at least she'd have company and already be exploring this time around, right?
"M-My camp" Lost in thought for a moment, Feli's voice startled the light-triber for a breath before she regained her wits. "Light-tribe camp is nice. It's really open, and we have the lake on one side and the Council of Spirits on the other. Hmm. We're right in the middle of all the territories, so all cats can come to us when they're needed. We have these bush things that go around the in a round shape that are our dens and where we store herbs. There's a big empty area in the middle, too, where we can talk and stuff. Fisher's Outlook isn't too far away from are camp either!" She mused. "I like our camp a lot. It'll smell really herb-y in the spring I bet, since that's when a lot of the herbs will start blooming! I don't mind it with the winter and the snow though, the ice makes the lake look really pretty! Or the waters of Ezrael. I'm not really sure what it's called; I just call it the lake all the time." The babble of words was nothing more than to be expected from the talkative she-cat, and she was pleased that it seemed like this pink-orange-earth would be able to carry on a conversation with her! It had ben harder with Ghost that first time they met. Grinning at the thought, her eyes turned to him. "But what it Air-Tribe camp like? I haven't been to this one yet!".
